Community Coordinator
Location: Remote Ireland, with regular travel in Ireland and to Cambridge, UK
Salary: €33,600 - €39,900 p.a. Full-time equivalent, dependent on experience
Basis: Permanent Full-time, part-time or flexible

The role
We are looking to appoint a Community Coordinator to support the growth and engagement of the Code Club community in Ireland.
Code Club is a global movement of free coding clubs where young people aged 9-16 years old develop the confidence to create with digital technologies. Code Clubs are run by teachers, educators, and volunteers from all walks of life and take place in schools and community settings, like libraries, museums, and maker spaces.
Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, the Community Coordinator will be responsible for raising awareness of Code Club, developing relationships with partners, supporting schools and community venues to establish and run their Code Clubs, and organising training and other events.
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering educational programmes in schools and community settings in Ireland. You will have a track record of developing successful partnerships, and be capable and confident when communicating with stakeholders at all levels. You will need to be flexible and creative, ready to try new approaches, evaluate, and iterate.
You don’t need to be an expert in computing or digital making, but you do need to bring a passion for our mission and a willingness to learn. Previous involvement with Code Club or CoderDojo would be an advantage.
