Summary

As a Content Creator at Platzi, you won’t just make content, you’ll help us figure out what content should exist.

You’ll be responsible for turning ideas into formats, formats into experiments, and experiments into repeatable wins across our social channels. 

This role is for someone curious, fast-learning, and resourceful. Someone who doesn’t wait for answers but knows how to find them.

What you’ll do

• Create educational and entertaining social content people genuinely want to watch and share.
• Conceptualize, script, shoot, and publish short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Host and produce live formats such as live classes, interviews, and events.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to turn ideas into compelling content.
• Run frequent content experiments, analyze results, and double down on what works.
• Bring references, trends, and format ideas from anywhere, not just social media.

• You’re comfortable receiving and giving direct feedback and using it to improve quickly.
• You enjoy experimenting and aren’t afraid of ideas that don’t work, as long as you learn from them.

• You’re curious about digital culture, education, and storytelling.

Requirements

• B2 English level.
• At least 1 year of experience creating content for social platforms with measurable results (reach, engagement, growth, or conversions).
• Familiarity with creator tools and basic video editing software (CapCut, Premiere, or similar).
• Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with online communities.

Nice to have

• Experience hosting live content.
• Familiarity with streaming tools like OBS.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics.
• Experience creating educational or knowledge-based content.
