Summary

Platzi is looking for a Data Scientist and A-player with 5+ years of experience, combining strong business acumen and mathematical expertise. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, growth-focused, and highly skilled in data science, statistics, and analytics. This role is pivotal to driving the success of Platzi’s B2B business through actionable insights and data-driven strategies.

Description

As a Data Scientist at Platzi, you will be responsible for helping grow Platzi’s B2B business. You will analyze diverse data sources including deal prospects, sales agent performance, and customer characteristics to design and implement strategies that fuel growth.

You will work closely with B2B stakeholders to align data-driven recommendations with business objectives, ensuring that insights translate into tangible results. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and ownership to fully understand and optimize Platzi’s B2B operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Strong business acumen and pragmatic focus on growth.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Python and Machine Learning libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Experience building dashboards in BI tools such as Looker or Omni.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience in B2B SaaS companies.
• Understanding of B2B sales processes.
• Familiarity with HubSpot.
• Familiarity with dbt and dimensional modeling theory.
• A passion for education and learning.
