We’re looking for a Director of Technical Program Management to lead our core application TPM team in the Software PMO. 

As a Director of Technical Program Management you will do:

  • Team Management:
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
    • Lead and motivate a team of Technical Program Manager across several subject domains
    • Provide guidance and direction to team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
    • Monitor and manage team performance.
  • Program and Portfolio Planning:
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Develop detailed roadmaps, project plans, schedules, and budgets across a portfolio of teams
    • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel and materials.
    • Set clear project milestones and timelines.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
    • Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project timelines.
    • Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders.
    • Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
    • Resolve conflicts and issues within the project team.
    • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Monitor project budgets and expenses.
    • Optimise resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for project reviews.
    • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

Eastern Time Zone strongly preferred, as you will be interfacing with peers from Eastern European Time to the Pacific Time Zone.

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience leading and developing program teams in a software development setting
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles
  • Worked on complex software projects preferably in a startup environment
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A drive for results, willingness to learn and push the team to deliver on time and under budget
  • A desire to learn new things and accept challenges
  • Comfort speaking to all audience levels and the ability to adapt complex challenges into tangible solutions
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1 $206,000 - $257,000
  • Region 2 $190,000 - $237,000 
  • Region 3 $178,000 - $223,000
