The Role 

At EAII, we believe great people are essential to delivering impact at scale. Over the past two years, we have grown, supporting state governments in delivering evidence-based public health programs across India. As we scale across multiple states, building strong, consistent, and effective hiring practices is critical to sustaining this work.

We are hiring a Manager, Talent Acquisition to strengthen how we attract and hire talent across the organization. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Management and HR Projects, this is a hands-on role that combines day-to-day recruitment ownership with responsibility for improving systems, metrics, and hiring outcomes. You will enable and elevate the recruitment team's work while partnering closely with hiring managers across the organization.


Responsibilities

End-to-End Hiring and Stakeholder Partnership

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for a portfolio of 10–15 roles, from kick-off through offer closure — managing candidate communication, ensuring a consistent and positive candidate experience, and providing offer recommendations grounded in market data.
  • Partner with hiring managers and department heads to clarify role requirements, define KSAs, and design effective interview and assessment processes; manage the internal applicant process and proactively identify high-potential internal candidates.
  • Build and sustain diverse talent pipelines through direct sourcing, job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and targeted outreach, ensuring all recruitment activities align with internal policies and applicable labour regulations.

Recruitment Strategy, Metrics and Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyse key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, offer acceptance rates) using Workable; diagnose bottlenecks and collaborate with the Senior Manager on targeted interventions to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Maintain recruitment dashboards and provide regular updates to the Senior Manager; continuously review and improve processes, tools, and workflows for efficiency and consistency.
  • Guide and coach recruitment officers; train hiring managers on best practices; research and implement sourcing channels that improve reach for programmatic and field-based hiring.
  • Support employer branding through monitoring review platforms, gathering feedback from recent hires, and contributing to LinkedIn visibility; engage with talent networks and sector forums to build presence among mission-aligned candidates.
  • Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitive trends.
  • Collaborate with the Global team on recruitment OKRs and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; additional HR qualifications are an advantage
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including hands-on ownership of end-to-end hiring in growing or complex organizations. Experience in the social impact or development sector or public health sector is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to own hiring outcomes, balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience across multiple roles simultaneously
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers as a thought partner, including advising on role scoping, KSAs, interview design, and hiring decisions
  • Proven ability to use data and metrics to diagnose hiring challenges and implement practical improvements
  • High level of comfort with recruitment systems and tools, including ATS platforms (Workable preferred), Excel, and basic reporting or dashboards
  • Solid understanding of applicable labour regulations and experience ensuring compliant, fair, and consistent hiring practices; familiarity with inclusive hiring approaches is a strong plus
  • High ownership mindset i.e ability to work independently and manage competing priorities while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned

Position Location

This position is based in New Delhi, India. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an India  employment visa at this time. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in India for roles based in India.

Competitive and commensurate with the individual's credentials, experience, and previous pay scale
