MarTech Optimisation Manager

Virgin
Full-time
Remote friendly (London England United Kingdom)
Worldwide

We’re looking for a technically sharp, hands-on MarTech Optimisation Manager to help us get the very best from our marketing technology stack. You’ll make sure our campaigns are seamlessly connected from a data and technical perspective — so we can track, measure and optimise performance across every channel.

If you’re someone who understands how the plumbing behind great marketing influences its performance — from tagging and cookies to deep links and data flows — and you love turning that knowledge into measurable impact, then this is the role for you!

Our Virgin Family

Join the Virgin Group – a diverse collective driving change, enhancing customer experience, and having a blast. We're daring, disrupting industries from finance to space, united as part of the Virgin Family.

Virgin Red rewards customers who live the Virgin lifestyle. Earn Virgin Points across our vast partner network, unlocking everyday rewards and exclusive experiences. As the Virgin network hub, we foster deeper customer understanding, opening doors for partners. Bold, distinctive, customer-centric – that's Virgin Red.

We’re a huge brand, but not a huge team, which means we take a hands-on approach while thinking strategically. Everyone rolls up their sleeves to get things done, making it an exciting and collaborative place to work.

  • Own the business requirements for integration and configuration of our marketing technologies across the operational and technology stack, to ensure optimised business processes and performance.
  • Make sure every campaign is correctly tagged, tracked and connected — from click to conversion and beyond.
  • Partner with our architecture and engineering teams to define demands on new and existing technologies, and how they should be implemented to meet our business goals
  • Work closely with data and tech teams to define tracking requirements, event schemas and attribution frameworks.
  • Support CRM and acquisition teams with set-up of journeys, deep links and automation triggers.
  • Troubleshoot tracking, tagging and data capture issues, getting to the root cause and fixing them fast.
  • Establish clear governance around naming conventions, tagging standards and documentation.
  • Continuously look for ways to optimise our stack, improve performance insight and drive better return on investment.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in marketing operations, martech or digital marketing, ideally in a performance-focused environment.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Braze, Tealium, Branch or Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of cookies, tagging, event-based tracking and attribution frameworks.
