Job Title: MD EHDI Grant: Family Support Liaison

The Family Support Liaison is responsible for providing outreach and support to families in Maryland with children newly identified as Deaf or Hard of Hearing. This role focuses on ensuring families are informed about available resources, services, and support networks. The Liaison will engage with families to facilitate connections to early intervention services, offer guidance on navigating the Maryland Early Intervention and IEP system, and provide ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition as children approach age three.
This position requires a strong understanding of Deaf Culture, the ability to work with ASL interpreters, and familiarity with Maryland's early intervention and education systems. The role is fully remote, with flexible hours, including occasional evening availability to accommodate family schedules.
