Role

The Senior HRMS/HRIS and Compensation Analyst is a strategic, high-impact role responsible for designing, scaling, and optimizing Crisis Text Line’s end-to-end HR technology ecosystem. This role ensures People Operations systems, processes, and analytics operate as a unified, modern platform that drives employee experience, equity, performance, and operational excellence.

Blending HR technology leadership, project management, compensation and organizational effectiveness enablement, process optimization, and advanced people analytics, this role partners closely with senior leaders to drive data-informed decisions and responsible AI adoption—strengthening workforce outcomes and amplifying organizational impact.

Responsibilities

Strategic Delivery, Change & Adoption

  • Lead complex People & Culture initiatives—including system implementations, process redesigns, and cross-functional programs—using strong project and change management practices.
  • Establish clear governance, timelines, risk management, and stakeholder communication to drive alignment and execution.
  • Enable adoption through thoughtful change management, training, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Compensation, Org Effectiveness & Workforce Enablement

  • Partner with People leadership to operationalize compensation programs, job architecture, and pay-equity frameworks within HR systems.
    Support organizational design, workforce planning, and role clarity through effective system configuration, reporting, and insights.
  • Equip leaders with clear visibility into workforce capacity, cost, and performance.

Process Excellence, Analytics & Digital Innovation

  • Design and continuously improve equitable, efficient, and employee-centered People processes and service delivery models.
  • Build dashboards and analytics that translate workforce data into actionable insights for leaders and People strategy.
  • Advance responsible AI and digital innovation within People Operations, applying ethical, transparent, and data-informed approaches to anticipate workforce trends and risks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and optimizing HRMS platforms and related People Operations systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR operations, HR technology, or People Operations project management
  • Strong project management capabilities with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Working knowledge of compensation structures, job architecture, and organizational effectiveness principles, with strong analytical and reporting skills to translate data into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to design, document, and scale HR processes while maintaining a high level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive employee data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a mission-driven, or high-growth organization.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled HR tools, Google Suite, and people analytics platforms.
  • HRIS, project management, or analytics certifications.
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed workforces.

The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $79,464-$110,000. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location. We pay competitively in the tech-forward nonprofit space and offer a robust benefits package.
