Senior Product Owner

Your role is to validate and explore these opportunities, turning the most promising ones into products that drive impact and profitability.

What are your three main goals?

• Lead discovery and market validation for new strategic initiatives.
• Build and test MVPs that turn insights into validated, data-driven outcomes, while making sure the quality of the products are solid.
• Develop early-stage ideas into scalable, profitable products that create measurable impact.

What does your team look like?

You will report to Bianca, the Manager UX & Product, and initially lead a small R&D development team focused on new product initiatives that is currently being formed. You will collaborate closely with two Product Owners, two UX Designers, an intern, and our SEO specialists. Together with Engineering, Data, and Commercial teams, you will turn early concepts into products that deliver value for students and partners.

As our portfolio of new initiatives grows, we foresee that you will eventually lead two teams.

What are your responsibilities and tasks?

• Explore and validate strategic ideas through research, discovery, and experimentation.
• Translate validated concepts into clear product hypotheses, MVPs, and measurable experiments.
• Work closely with engineering, data, and commercial teams to bring ideas to life.
• Use insights and AI-driven opportunities to create products that enhance user and business value.
• Build the foundation of Studyportals’ R&D function, helping the company innovate and grow profitably.

What are we are looking for?

• At least 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in startups or scale-ups.
• Proven record in building, launching, and scaling profitable digital products from scratch.
• Strong discovery and analytical skills with a clear focus on learning and iteration.
• Experience working in agile, lean, and cross-functional teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity, resilience, and commercial awareness.
