The SHE Senior Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of SHE workshops across Cambodia. This includes curriculum development, producing training materials, and the training and coaching of internal teams. 

Location : Base in Siem Reap 

Contract type: one year with potential extension 

Supervisor : SHE Facilitation and GEDSI Advisor 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Workshop Delivery & Quality Control

  • Support and contribute to curriculum adaptation and production of workshop materials.
  • Deliver up to 15 days (including travel) of workshops per month (including travel).
  • Lead business coaching sessions  with strategic partners or entrepreneurs. 
  • Work with other Facilitators to ensure good communication with the program participants and liaison with different project leads regarding logistics, keeping them engaged between workshop and deliverables.  
  • Manage and contribute to internal learning materials including workshop reports, Facilitator quality control and post-workshop reflection. 
  • Observe facilitators to reinforce the quality of workshop delivery to make sure that facilitators have applied the correct methodology and actively engage participants. 
  • Ensure strong representation of SHE to local stakeholders including government, donors, and businesses.

Project Support

  • Contribute to the recruitment of participants based on the project selection criteria, and work closely with the participants to ensure quality delivery
  • Assist with MERL throughout the whole program:
    • Pre-workshop: support the MERL team in tailoring the MERL framework and questionnaire form
    • During-workshops: collection of baseline/end-line surveys or pre- and post-tests, 
    • Post-workshop: review collected data and lessons learned
  • Implement all necessary policies to ensure that correct procedures are followed by staff under supervision
  • Be able to represent SHE at conferences and events and speak about our work. 

Team Management, Representation and Policy Compliance

  • Hold regular monthly check-ins, quarterly task management, and 6-monthly performance reviews to identify areas for team growth and development.
  • Implement all necessary policies and processes and ensure that correct procedures are followed by staff under supervision. 
  • Ensure strong representation of SHE to local stakeholders including government, donors and business. 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  1. Ensure that workshop quality control measures are implemented, upheld, and achieved across SHE programs.
  2. Leverage the internal Facilitator QC framework to keep track of what is going well and opportunities for improvement. 
  3. Demonstrate good leadership and teamwork for effective achievement of program goals including training and SHE program interventions. 

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

  • Graduated from university with a degree in business management , Education, Commerce or Entrepreneurship or any other related disciplines - generalists welcome;
  • Minimum three years’ experience in project management, Service and Training, Facilitation, Writing report  MERL and reporting, ideally within the development sector - private and public sector experience welcome; and
  • Essential skills and experiences include:
    • Have facilitated workshop or involve in classroom management  
    • Strong coordination experience, including internal and external team coordination;
    • Familiar with donor-funded and government-supported development initiatives;
    • Comfortable and capable working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures; and
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong English and Khmer language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge on GEDSI and women economic empowerment is a plus

The salary for this position is subject to negotiation and benefits are standard based on iDE policy.
