Mem Global seeks a Vice President, Human Resources to provide strategic leadership across all areas of human resources while strengthening the systems and infrastructure that support our global organization. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and serving on the Senior Management Team, this role oversees compensation, employee relations, performance management, benefits, learning and organizational development, talent acquisition and retention, organizational culture, leadership, and risk management. The Vice President, Human Resources blends culture-forward leadership with strong operational, systems, and data expertise to ensure Mem Global’s people practices are scalable, compliant, and aligned with our mission and values as we continue to grow.Who You Are and What You’ll Do

You value collaboration, bring curiosity and humility to your work, and pair strong people leadership with technical rigor and systems thinking.You bring extensive experience across human resources, along with comfort navigating HR technology, data, and operational complexity in a global environment.Enterprise HR Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute an organization-wide human resources strategy aligned with Mem Global’s business goals, growth trajectory, and global footprint.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the COO and Senior Management Team on workforce planning, organizational design, talent risk, and people investments.
- Lead and evolve Mem Global’s organizational culture in alignment with the Mem Mindset and values.
HR Technology, Systems & Data Ownership - Own and continuously optimize Mem Global’s HR technology ecosystem, including HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, learning platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
- Lead system selection, implementation, integration, and optimization efforts to ensure scalability, automation, data integrity, and strong user experience.
- Establish and maintain people analytics dashboards and reporting to support executive decision-making, workforce planning, compensation modeling, retention strategies, and DEI outcomes.
- Partner closely with Finance, IT, and Operations to align people systems with financial controls, forecasting, and compliance requirements.
Global HR Operations, Compliance & Risk Management- Provide strategic oversight of U.S. (including New York and California) and international employment practices, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
- Manage and optimize relationships with external partners including PEOs, Employers of Record (EORs), legal counsel, insurance brokers, and benefits providers.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate people-related risks across the organization, including policy gaps, compliance exposure, and operational inefficiencies.
- Lead employee relations with care and rigor, supporting managers through performance and conduct issues, addressing conflict and concerns thoughtfully, and ensuring people practices are fair, compliant, and aligned with Mem Global’s values.
Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management- Lead the development and execution of Mem Global’s compensation philosophy, including salary structures, benchmarking, equity considerations, and incentive programs.
- Oversee benefits strategy and vendor management to ensure competitive, compliant, and cost-effective offerings.
- Own performance management frameworks and leadership development approaches that support accountability, growth, and retention.
Talent, Learning & Organizational Development- Provide strategic oversight of talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Design and lead onboarding and new leader orientation programs that ensure consistency and excellence across the organization.
- Partner with leaders to assess team effectiveness, coach managers, and adapt organizational structures to meet evolving needs.
People Team Leadership & Department Management- Lead, develop, and performance-manage a high-performing Human Resources team.
- Ensure strong collaboration across internal teams and effective leverage of outsourced resources.
- Own the HR department budget and ensure responsible fiscal management
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership across multiple HR disciplines.
- Minimum of 7 years leading and developing HR teams, preferably in complex, multi-site or distributed organizations.
- Demonstrated experience owning and implementing HR systems and technology platforms, including HRIS and payroll.
- Strong experience with data analysis, reporting, and executive-level presentation of workforce insights.
- Experience navigating multi-jurisdictional or global employment environments strongly preferred.
- High level of financial acumen, including budgeting, compensation modeling, and partnership with Finance.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and stakeholder management skills.

The Fine Print
The Vice President, Human Resources, is a full-time, exempt, year-round position, and requires weekday office hours to complete job requirements. This position works in one of our U.S. Hub offices (Chicago (preferred), NYC, Washington D.C., Charlotte, or Encinitas) on a hybrid schedule and is supervised by the Chief Operating Officer.
In our U.S. Hub Offices, our team works a hybrid schedule where employees can choose to work remotely 2 days per week and collaborate in-person with coworkers the rest of the week.Compensation:
The starting salary range for this full-time exempt position is: $145K-$170K. Your specific salary within this range will take into consideration education, experience and location.
