Overview

FMI is a leading consulting and investment banking firm dedicated to serving companies working within the built environment. Our Performance consulting practice partners with construction firms to enhance operational effectiveness, improve profitability, and mitigate risk.


We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive, tech-savvy professional with attention to detail who plays a key role in enabling consultants to deliver exceptional, industry-leading solutions to our clients.


This is a full-time opportunity based in our office in Tampa, Florida with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional administrative support to multiple Performance practice consultants
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal team members, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Support project coordination by tracking timelines and deliverables across multiple client engagements
  • Prepare, format, and proofread client-facing materials such as presentations, reports, proposals and program documents with accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain digital (and physical if necessary) files, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards
  • Anticipate team needs and proactively address administrative challenges to improve efficiency and workflow
  • Administer client surveys and develop corresponding survey results
  • Facilitate invoicing of professional fees and expenses to clients
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to FMI branding and document standards across all deliverables
  • Facilitate printing, packing and shipping of client deliverables including workbooks and reports
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in an administrative professional role or equivalent position
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) required.
  • Superior skills in attention to detail, organization and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including proofing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience with CRM and accounting software a plus
  • Experience with electronic survey tools a plus (i.e., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
