The Administrator will work closely with the Head of Operations to support the work of Economist Enterprise in various areas.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays cool under pressure and is motivated by setting high standards and striving to exceed them. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and solution-oriented thinking. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Process, manage, and accurately code invoices from suppliers, including agencies and freelancers using tools such as PeopleSoft
  • Be a go-to person for contracts with 3rd party suppliers and a liaison between the Research & Analytics (R&A) team, legal and procurement functions. 
  • Undertake quarterly audits of 
    • Freelancer/contributor list in the shared drive
    • Freelancer/contributor list on Monday.com 
    • Freelancer/contributor access to Viewpoint for contributors and super contributors
    • the R&A org charts
    • Access to Viewpoint for contributors and super contributors working with the R&A team
  • Onboard new recruits, new contributors, and super contributors. Ensure that new recruits and super contributors have access to all the relevant platforms, cms, data wrapper, Quickbase, Viewpoint
  • Arrange induction meetings for new recruits to the R&A team
  • Administering and managing commercialisation of analyst’ time 

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience is preferred but not required
  • Meticulous, proactive approach to problem-solving, accountable and result-driven
  • Collaborative and able to partner with team members across Economist Enterprise and company, along with the ability to multitask, problem solve and efficiently manage time 
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies. 
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones and collaborate with international teams

The majority of our roles operate on a hybrid working pattern, with 3+ days office attendance required.
