Purpose of Role
As a member of the People team, the People Operations Associate will provide administrative assistance on traditional human resource functions that foster a healthy and positive environment in areas of engagement, compliance, retention and an overall culture of growth and excellence. This includes but is not limited to benefits, payroll, staff training and retreats, data and reporting. Additionally, this person will also provide operational support on some staff engagement strategies.Provide support to the People Operations team: employee verifications, expense reports, compliance, benefit administration, and contract processing.
Ensure all HRIS data and reports are accurate and on time.
Support employees and managers with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
Support all aspects of performance management.
Provide assistance with all compensation related matters.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Comprehensive knowledge of HR laws & practices
Minimum of 3 years HR related experience, SHRM or comparable certificate is a plus but not required
Workday experience, preferred
The salary range for this role is between $59,755 and $74,670.
This is a hybrid role based at our Chicago office in Hyde Park.
