About IsraAID

IsraAID is an international humanitarian NGO headquartered in Israel, operating strictly on humanitarian principles in a complex political environment. This identity affords a distinct operational role: facilitating coordination between international humanitarian actors and Israeli authorities while maintaining impartiality, neutrality, and an unconditional commitment to vulnerable populations regardless of race, nationality, religion, or politics. In practice, this has enabled IsraAID to support the delivery of essential aid into Gaza while helping international organizations navigate access, shipment, procurement, and customs processes.

IsraAID’s teams have worked in over 65 countries since 2001. Current programs include supporting long-term displaced populations in Uganda, South Sudan, and Colombia, and responding to emergencies most recently in Myanmar, Jamaica and Sri Lanka IsraAID's approach is community-centered and long-term, spanning relief, recovery, and resilience across mental health and psychosocial support, child protection, education, WASH, health, and livelihoods. All programming is developed in partnership with local actors, drawing on their expertise and resources to build lasting community ownership.

The Projects

Over the past two years, IsraAID has provided humanitarian assistance to nearly 500,000 individuals in Gaza, primarily through capacity building and support for local partners. Building on this ongoing response, we are now expanding our Middle East portfolio to assist affected communities across the wider region. Our core focus areas include Public Health, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Child Protection, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). The particular details of IsraAID’s involvement in Gaza and the rest of the Middle East remain extremely confidential due to the sensitivity.
