EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, is searching for aCoordinator to join our Campaigns team. Our Campaigns Coordinator will report to the Campaigns Manager and work to support our campaigns, candidates and advisors in day to day operations that support our ability to build stronger, scalable campaign operations. The person in this position will work closely with both our Senior Director of Candidate Services and Campaigns Research to identify priority projects to support campaigns, including call time support, research support, and staffing support. They will also work with the Campaigns Manager and other members of the campaigns team to ensure information flow between teams runs smoothly. 


The coordinator will work closely with the Campaigns Manager and Campaigns Assistant on different projects, including briefing materials, resource distribution, creation and updating of internal department resources, and administrative support for candidates.

Essential Job Functions
  • Provide programmatic support to the senior directors of candidate services and campaigns research, including on trainings
  • Work directly with the Campaigns Manager, those senior directors, and advisors to ensure campaigns receive necessary support from EMILYs List in a balanced manner that falls in line with organization priorities
  • Help support on research projects for the Campaigns Research team Deliver, track and update weekly fundraising metrics from campaigns;
  • Assist the Campaigns Manager in screening campaign resumes from the EMILYs List job bank, working across EMILYs List to organize resume drops;
  • Maintain and update a PAC contact and endorsement list; along with managing EMILYs List PAC contribution check process for State and Local and Federal and Gubernatorial races
  • Work with the senior director of candidate services on and marketing on the EMILYs List candidate mailing process;
  • Track action items and follow up for teams and interdepartmental requests;
  • Staff candidates as needed;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • At least one cycle of experience on a campaign or electoral experience, preferably on a federal, state legislative campaign, or similarly situated committee. 
  • Knowledge of and experience using NGP.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills and must have an ability to assess candidate races and implement strategic political programs.
  • Proven experience prioritizing and working on multiple projects at once.
  • Experience with staffing or scheduling for a principal, such as a candidate or leadership team member is a plus. 
  • Must be organized and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Outstanding technological skills, including but not limited to Google Drive and video webinar software, are essential.
  • The Campaigns Coordinator should be an innovative self-starter, able to work with a wide variety of people, and able to prioritize and handle a variety of projects.
