We are looking for a driven and charismatic Chief of Staff to support and shadow our CEO, helping to drive forward key strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement. About ARC Power
Since our founding in 2016, we have connected over 15,000 people across 14 villages to renewable solar energy, providing 24-hour electricity that transforms lives and fuels economic growth. We design, develop, and install both off-grid and grid-tied AC power generation systems (ARCs) and distribution networks, becoming the heart of communities and enabling families and small businesses to thrive. We are just getting started, having signed a ground-breaking contract with the Government of Rwanda and now expanding in Zambia and Mozambique, with a plan to provide energy access to more than 2 million people in the region.
About the Role
You will work directly with the CEO to ensure preparation, coordination, and follow-up for internal and external engagements. You will help prepare high-quality presentations and briefing materials, manage stakeholder communications, and play a critical role in ensuring that priorities are actioned across the business. You will also ensure smooth operation of daily activities for the CEO, providing high-level administrative support, managing schedules, organising meetings, handling correspondence, and coordinating logistics.
You will regularly accompany the CEO to meetings with governments, development partners, investors, and collaborators across sub-Saharan Africa and beyond, gaining a deep understanding of leadership, business development, and international stakeholder management. Hence, frequent travel to the countries where ARC Power operates will be required.
This role demands proactivity, prioritisation, confidentiality, and strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
