Commercial Finance Manager - FP&A and Pricing

Here’s a chance to step into a unique role, where finance meets commercial impact. You’ll lead all FP&A activity for Virgin Red, driving forecasting, budgeting, and board reporting. Alongside that, you’ll be our financial partner to the Pricing team – making sure point economics stack up, redemption forecasting is watertight, and pricing decisions keep us on track for growth.

Tell me more

• Lead all FP&A activity for Virgin Red – from month-end reporting through to forecasting, annual budgets and long-term planning.
• Own board and leadership reporting, turning complex data into clear, structured insights that drive decision-making.
• Be the finance business partner to the Pricing team – shaping redemption forecasts, challenging models, and ensuring financial oversight in pricing decisions.
• Oversee Virgin Red point economics, making sure margins remain sustainable and aligned to plan.
• Provide structured analysis on performance trends, risks and opportunities – and create board-ready materials to bring the story to life.
• Work closely with senior leaders across Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic, building trusted partnerships and influencing key priorities.

What you’ll need

• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid post-qualified experience.
• Proven experience in FP&A, management reporting and commercial finance, ideally with exposure to pricing or loyalty.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, hold stakeholders to account, and deliver accurate work at pace.
• Strong modelling and Excel skills, and the ability to simplify complex information for senior audiences.
• A methodical, detail-oriented mindset – someone who’s as comfortable digging into the numbers.

Role type: Contract (12-15 months)
Location: London hub (approx. 1-2 days per week) & your home space
Salary: £73,000 - £80,500 plus bonus - We're putting our salaries out there for everyone to see - no smoke and mirrors, just honest numbers. We'll offer a salary that matches your skills, always aiming for room to grow.
