Karya’s workers make at least 20 times the Indian minimum wage and through our one-of-a-kind digital work platform, we have delivered over 40 million digital tasks and are poised to positively impact over 100 thousand workers by the end of the year. In the coming years, our goal is to rapidly scale our impact by bringing economic opportunities to millions of underserved users in India.

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Community Coordinators to support in the end-to-end process of this project including and not limited to onboarding users and facilitating their participation in Project LokVaani.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. User Identification: Identify and onboard diverse users (ages 20-70) from marginalized communities, ensuring a 50:50 gender ratio.
  2. Training and Onboarding:
    • Conduct  training sessions to understand the project and tasks.
    • Onboard users by helping them install the Karya app, complete profile tasks, and record a few sample audio tasks.
  3. Task Assistance:
    • Guide users in completing recordings.
    • Ensure users adhere to task guidelines (e.g., no multiple IDs for one person).
  4. Data Accuracy: Help users enter accurate details (language, PIN code, etc.) into the platform.
  5. Support: Provide ongoing assistance to users to ensure task completion and resolve issues.

Languages We Are Hiring For: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Malayalam, Assamese, Bodo, Maithili, Manipuri, Santali, and Sindhi.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have large connections in the required language/s.
  • Aged between 18-55 years.
  • Access to an Android smartphone.
  • Ability to train and manage multiple users.
  • Comfortable with using excel and other google tools

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse communities.
  • Basic digital literacy and familiarity with Android smartphones.
