Nurani Perdamaian Indonesia (NPID) is a humanitarian organization established on March 01, 2023. With legality certification by the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights through AHU Number -0003058.AH.01.07.TAHUN 2023. Our organization is affiliated with the Nonviolent Peaceforce organization and operates as a branch representative of the Nonviolent Peaceforce for Indonesia. Nonviolence Peaceforce (NP) is a nonpartisan international organization globally recognized for its Unarmed Civilian Protection (UCP) strategies in preventing violence, increasing the safety and security of civilians, and strengthening local peace infrastructures across its programme locations.


OVERVIEW

 

NP is an implementing organization of the ongoing peace process between the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and the Philippine government. Our mandate for implementing the peace process includes monitoring and reporting individuals’ concerns about safety, protective accompaniment for civilians and organizations in areas of conflict, including NP team members accompanying hostage survivors to reunite with their families. NP monitors whether conflicting parties are abiding by ceasefire agreements, and it verifies and reports compliance and noncompliance with agreements. NP creates safe spaces for peaceful dialogue between different stakeholders in the country, including local institutions, for community-based conflict prevention and conflict resolution, training local leaders and organizations in UCP methodologies for monitoring, unarmed peacekeeping, and civilian protection.


To broaden the appreciation and acceptance of Unarmed Civilian Protection (UCP) in the country, NP is working to increase awareness, engagement, and participation by building support at the local, regional, and national levels.


JOB SUMMARY


Under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Finance Officer, the Finance & Admin Assistant Consultant will provide support in the effective and efficient implementation of financial and administrative processes of the organization. This consultancy position involves assisting in the preparation and recording of financial transactions, maintaining accurate and organized financial documentation, supporting procurement and logistical arrangements, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.

 

The Consultant will also provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth office operations and contribute to the overall delivery of program objectives. As a consultant, the role is expected to deliver outputs in line with agreed timelines and standards, ensuring accountability and high-quality support to the team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

General Tasks

  • Perform official bank-related errands, including deposits and withdrawals, as needed.
  • Facilitate the secure and timely delivery of checks to vendors and suppliers.
  • Support the procurement process by preparing and arranging procured supplies, office upkeep, and equipment.
  • Facilitate the payment and monitoring of office utilities (electricity, water, internet, and phone bills).
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties such as filing, scanning, organizing, and maintaining contracts and financial records.
  • Maintain an updated and accurate inventory of office supplies, upkeep materials, and visibility items.
  • Ensure the proper and documented issuance of office supplies, upkeep materials, and visibility items to staff.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to the Admin Officer and other departments as required.
  • Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Senior Finance Officer

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • D3/S1 in Economics, Accounting, Business, or other related disciplines
  • Experience working in an NGO or similar organisation, minimum 2 years
  • Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts
  • Local resident of Jakarta or nearby cities
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

DURATION


The consultancy engagement will be for a fixed period of three (3) months, commencing on 10 November 2025 and concluding on 10 February 2026. Any extension beyond this period shall be subject to mutual agreement and the organization’s operational needs.


FEE AND PAYMENT TERMS

 

  • The Consultant shall receive a monthly professional fee of IDR 5,250,000, which is inclusive of all applicable costs and expenses, including but not limited to taxes, transportation, communication, and logistics.
  • Payments will be processed on a monthly basis, upon submission and approval of a duly accomplished timesheet and any required supporting documentation.
