The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. Contract Administrator:

The Contract Administrator will play a key role on the legal team, managing both the administrative and substantive aspects of the Legal Department’s contracting operations. This includes overseeing the contract request process and setting clear expectations for requesters, coordinating and tracking cross-departmental projects, supporting large-scale initiatives, serving as the point of contact for all Game Changer initiatives, maintaining contract files and records, and organizing training and resources for the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.

This position will report to the Manager, Contract Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and be the first source of support for requests from all functional areas to the Legal Department 
  • Be a partner to the lawyers and paralegals on the team with respect to data requests, research, organizational filing and general project management 
  • Identify and improve processes, share best practices, improve efficiency with the Legal Department and increase scalability 
  • Guide other departments in the company to streamline their legal needs and provide them with tools so they can help themselves with repeatable legal requests; work with multiple business teams, Finance, Technology, and leadership to identify business priorities and then fulfill them 
  • Develop and maintain functional expertise with the contract lifecycle management software (Agiloft); originate, develop, and present training in support of contracting processes and requirements across the entire organization 
  • Assist with assigning all requests in the contract lifecycle management software to the appropriate paralegal and/or attorney, ensuring fair workloads and appropriate handling of requests based upon subject matter expertise 
  • Participate in the design development, testing and delivery of solutions for Agiloft and other legal tools, as necessary 
  • Track and report on the operational performance of the legal team and the progress of various transactions 
  • Manage training and communication to all active requesters in the contract management software, ensuring the quick and efficient dissemination of updates, changes and improvements 

 

Background & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years in a legal and/or contract administration capacity with increasing responsibilities. 
  • Excellent technology acumen and ability to exercise initiative, tact, sound judgment and prioritization. 
  • Able to observe and maintain the utmost confidentiality. 
  • Advanced-level Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.  Experience with process optimization and documentation highly preferred. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work on-site in an open office environment, based in Los Angeles, CA  
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment  
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods. 

 

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,500.00 - $75,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
