Role Summary
The finance team is looking for a Corporate Finance intern to take immediate ownership on operational and project-based tasks, supporting the delivery of strategic topics.
What you will do
Financial Modeling
• Develop and maintain business plans, financial forecasts (P&L, cash flow), and funding strategies to support Mistral’s growth.
• Build and refine models to assess financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
Reporting & KPI Tracking
• Design and implement tracking tools and investor-facing reports.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive strategic decisions.
Financial and Strategic Presentations: Draft pitch decks, board presentations, and financial analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
Market Intelligence
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and monitor market trends.
• Develop processes to gather, structure, and deliver weekly market updates and actionable insights.
Investor Relations: Assist in preparing materials for investor meetings, board updates, and fundraising efforts.
Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects and transverse initiatives within the Finance team (e.g., grant applications, accounting, operations).
About you
• Eligibility: Final-year internship only (no gap-year or apprenticeship candidates).
• Experience: Prior experience in tech/startups, investment funds, or investment banking.
• Academic Background: Top-tier business or engineering school (double degree in Business/Engineering is a strong plus)
• Strong financial knowledge: financial modeling, data analysis.
• Full professional proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and curiosity to learn and contribute quickly.
• Team player, problem-solver, and hands-on.
• Highly motivated with a proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Demonstrated interest in AI and technology, with a deep understanding of Mistral’s industry.
