Job Profile

The Data entry will be working in MMU supported by RI in NES, entering patient’s demographic data, patients’ visit
data and submitting weekly reports, managerially reporting to the health Information management system officer.



Key responsibilities

Accountability and Complexity
• Gather and organize data of patients who visited the health facility.
• Filling patient data in standard RI templates, and segregate it as requested like by sex, age group, diagnosis, treatment, type of surgery physiotherapy, psychosocial support, and referral activities.
• Ensure that data is submitted by email to RI on the agreed upon deadlines.
• Review data weekly to monitor quality.
• Note any missing/incomplete/inaccurate data in the sheets.
• Inform the supervisor if discrepancies need further assessment or response.
• Prepare data to be included the project's monthly reports.
• Archive copies of data both electronically and in paper.
• Under supervision of line manager, ensure that archive system i s in place, updated
and safe.
• Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff.
• Keep all patients’ do cuments confid ential, and never disclos e any information rel ated to patients.
• Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers.
• Perform regular database backups to secure data
• Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors.
• Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry
• Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.



Person Specification

Skills, knowledge and expertise required for the role.
Essential criteria
▪ University degree or any related degree
▪ Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field.
▪ Basic working knowledge of English and fluency in writing, reading, speaking and listening Arabic language.
▪ Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in MS Excel and MS Access desirable
▪ Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
▪ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment and in meeting deadlines with attention to
detail and quality.
▪ Demonstrated ability and willingness to take initiative and to be flexible depending on changing priorities and deadlines.
▪ Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
▪ Willing to travel to the field sites.

▪ Experience of working in medical reporting will be an added.
Desirable criteria
• good knowledge of excel
• Working experience with International NGOs or similar set-up.
• Experience of working in medical reporting or will be an added
• Good level in English language (reading, writing and speaking) .
