Role Purpose:

Harnesses the power of digital content, platforms, and performance data to amplify OSF’s leadership, advocacy efforts, brand identity, and issues. This role supports OSF’s senior leadership, particularly the Chair, in shaping their online presence, staying aligned with organizational goals, and driving engagement across emerging platforms and audiences. Requires discretion and the ability to act in a confidential capacity regarding leadership strategy and activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital strategies to advance OSF’s advocacy, issue, brand identity, and leadership goals.
  • Manage content across social platforms (Facebook, Oversee the online presence of OSF’s senior leaders, particularly the Chair, across platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and other digital mediums as required.
  • Create and manage the Chair’s content calendar; capture content related to key trips and engagements to reflect the Chair’s leadership in action.
  • Monitor, interpret, and report on social media and digital performance metrics from various sources and offer strategic insights to the Office of the Chair.
  • Identify opportunities for leadership platform growth through influencer partnerships, creator collaborations, and other media (e.g. podcasts). Manage relationships with key contributors.
  • Develop systems for approval workflows, brand voice alignment, and content publishing tailored to leadership accounts.
  • Work closely with OSF Communications leadership to ensure alignment of the Chair’s digital voice with OSF’s larger narrative and priorities. Participate in regular comms check-ins regarding upcoming events, travel, messaging, and relevant media moments.
  • Manage digital projects and initiatives in coordination with other teams and external vendors, agencies, and partners.
  • Travel is required. Travel frequency depends on the role requirements.

The ideal candidate

  • Substantial experience working in digital communications with a proven track record in project management across multiple projects
  • Experience building and managing high-profile digital accounts, preferably for senior leaders or public figures, with strong storytelling, rapid response, and audience growth focus
  • Expertise managing content calendars, editorial pipelines, and cross-functional coordination with senior stakeholders
  • Superior writing and editing skills and experience producing and managing digital content, including messaging and short-form social media content
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data from various sources, such as web analytics, social media platforms, email campaigns, and paid media

  • Experience managing an email or newsletter program
  • Experience with HTML
  • Flexibility, creativity, initiative, and ability to take on multiple evolving responsibilities effectively

The salary range for this role in the US is $128,820 - $143,133 (USD). The final offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set and level of experience.
