SUMMARY
The Director of Integrated Partnerships provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for USA for UNHCR’s Integrated Partnerships Team. Reporting to the Senior Director, this role is responsible for shaping internal systems, optimizing workflows, and driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure the efficient execution of partnership strategies.
The Director serves as the key decision-maker for integrated operations and systems, identifying and implementing tools, processes, and reporting frameworks that support long-term growth and impact. This position plays a critical role in aligning operational infrastructure with fundraising priorities and leads a team responsible for partner recognition, data systems, and internal coordination.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Integrated Partnerships to provide dynamic and innovative leadership for USA for UNHCR’s partnership efforts, supporting the development of a corporate, gifts-in-kind, and foundation strategy and pipeline to drive fundraising and efforts in support UNHCR programs
- Lead the development and implementation of efficient internal systems and processes to streamline partnership operations, enhance team productivity, oversee partner recognition processes, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide leadership in identifying, developing, and implementing new philanthropic products and partnership opportunities to create exponential and transformational growth, with a focus on deliverable opportunities for the next 3-5 years.
- Develop and implement reporting systems to track partnership performance, analyze key metrics, and present insights to leadership for decision-making.
- Collaborate with advocacy, communications and other departments to create efficient workflows and position USA for UNHCR as a thought leader in private sector engagement and partnership development.
- Co-develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the Partnerships Department in collaboration with the Sr. Director, including annual goal-setting, resource allocation, and operational priorities
- Manage Department Coordinator and Partner Recognition Manager and provide informal leadership and advice to six relationship managers.
- Lead the assessment and implementation of systems and tools that support partner identification, solicitation, and stewardship, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational efficiency
- Provide regular updates and performance reports on partnership efforts, outcomes, and departmental progress to the Development Leadership Team, Executive Leadership, and cross-functional partners to ensure transparency and alignment across USA for UNHCR

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 12-14 years of fundraising or related partnership experience; Bachelor’s degree required; relevant Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of institutional fundraising programs, including corporate, foundations, gift-in-kind, shared value partnerships.
- Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and secure corporate partnerships along a spectrum of opportunities (gift-in-kind, funding, cause-related marketing, employee engagement, etc.).
- Ability to drive new business development to expand partnership opportunities.
- Strong account management skills to maintain and strengthen partner relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and partnership management tools to support operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Superior writing skills, as well as strong presentation, marketing, and communication skills, with the ability to deal with sensitive human rights issues, directly and passionately, and to translate USA for UNHCR’s mission and programs into fundraising initiatives that garner financial support.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrixed environments with senior leadership, Board members, staff, and volunteers, providing strong support and inspiring them to productive action.

WORK LOCATION
Hybrid + New York, NY + May also involve travel to some locations within the company’s region of operations and select donor locations.
COMPENSATION
$141,265 - $169,518
