Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role will be based in San Francisco or Mountain View, CA.
We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented senior leader to drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of the technology and systems strategy for our Finance organization. As Finance increasingly becomes a data-driven and tech-enabled function, this role will play a critical part in modernizing our systems landscape, improving data integration, and delivering high-impact automation and intelligence capabilities. In addition, this leader will play a critical role in advancing our AI-first vision, including the integration of agentic technologies that automate workflows, enhance decision-making, and reduce reliance on manual processes and external suppliers.
This leader will partner closely with stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, Operations, and GTM to ensure that Finance technology investments are aligned to strategic business outcomes. This leader will also oversee the Finance citizen development strategy, building and managing a low-code/no-code capability that empowers the organization to deliver lightweight, scalable solutions outside of traditional engineering cycles. This includes development using tools like Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and integrations with AI-powered search and workflow platforms such as Glean.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise platforms, a product mindset, and the ability to operate at the intersection of strategy, systems, and scalable delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a multi-year strategy and roadmap for Finance systems, spanning the full ecosystem of platforms and tools - including ERP, procurement, planning &forecasting, close and consolidation, tax, reporting, analytics, data infrastructure, and enabling technologies such as automation and low-code solutions
Serve as Finance’s primary tech strategy leader, collaborating with Data teams, Engineering, and external vendors to shape the systems architecture.
Lead the evaluation and adoption of Agentic AI technologies to automate financial workflows, augment human capacity, and reduce third-party service dependencies.
Partner with Engineering to drive platform evaluations, buy vs. build decisions, and major systems transformations (e.g., ERP modernization, forecasting platform upgrades).
Partner with Finance Data Leader to ensure that our systems & tools enable our near and long-term vision for Financial data strategy (incl. Enabling Master Data Management, near real-time reporting needs, self-serve capabilities.)
Foster an environment of citizen development within Finance, capable of building scalable, secure, and maintainable tools using Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Fabric, and Glean.
Collaborate across cross-functional teams—including Data, GTM, Talent, and Operations—to ensure Finance systems integrate seamlessly with enterprise platforms and processes.
Champion a product management mindset within Finance, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability, and driving cross-functional alignment on priorities.
Support translation of business needs into technical requirements; evaluate trade-offs and be involved in all phases of the product lifecycle from concept to delivery.
Champion emerging technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, and autonomous agents that improve financial performance, decision-making, control, and efficiency
Partner with Finance BPOs and process owners to optimize system process design, reduce system complexity, and improve data integrity.
Develop and maintain robust governance around final Engineering intake, prioritization, and roadmap, ensuring that items prioritized are aligned with our long-term technical vision & business needs
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends in enterprise finance systems and influence future architectural decisions.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product management, enterprise systems, finance transformation, or related roles.
Experience owning and delivering complex technology roadmaps in large-scale, matrixed organizations.
Proven track record of success with Finance, ERP, FP&A, or enterprise data platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with citizen development tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Fabric) and their application in enterprise environments.
Deep understanding of enterprise system architecture, data integration, and SaaS ecosystems.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
Demonstrated communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience with GTM-Finance system handoffs (e.g., quote-to-cash, billing, revenue recognition, compensation planning).
Experience with AI and intelligent automation applications in Finance or Enterprise Functions.
Background in process improvement, data governance, or financial analytics platforms.
Passion for organizational transformation, scaling platforms, and empowering teams with better tools and insights.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $171,000 to $278,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
