OVERVIEW
CR’s Enterprise & Strategy team is the driving force behind our organization. This team leads our strategic vision and planning, overseeing initiatives that enhance our operational effectiveness, drive impact for consumers, improve the marketplace, and position CR for long term success.
As Director, Strategic Insights you will build a nimble, insight-rich function that brings the outside in. This role is critical to deepening CR’s understanding of consumer trends, competitive dynamics, and broader societal, technological, and regulatory shifts, while also identifying emerging opportunities in new domains and industries that could shape CR’s future. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will be hands-on in surfacing timely, actionable intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and enterprise priorities.

This position is hybrid to our Yonkers, NY office. Candidates should reside within 75 miles of Yonkers, NY. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

At Consumer Reports, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation.The target salary range for this position is $200K-$225K. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will be informed by the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. We have three locations: Yonkers, NY, Washington, DC and Colchester, CT. We are registered to do business in and can only hire from the following states and federal district: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Vermont, Virginia and Washington, DC.
