Location: Remote – Anywhere in the contiguous United States
Compensation: Anticipated compensation for this position is $148-208k*.

Job Summary 
The Director of Total Rewards at FranklinCovey is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's global total rewards strategy, programs, and operations. This role encompasses broad-based and variable compensation, sales compensation, equity programs, and benefits. The Director of Total Rewards will work closely with senior leadership, including the C-Suite, to ensure the total rewards strategy aligns with the company's business objectives and supports talent attraction, retention, and motivation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Global Total Rewards Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive global total rewards strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and competitive market practices.
  • Compensation Program Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of broad-based and variable compensation programs, merit compensation program and global salary structures, incentive plans, and equity programs.
  • Sales Compensation: Lead the development and management of sales compensation plans to drive sales performance and align with business objectives.
  • Equity Programs: Manage the design and administration of equity compensation programs, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), and other long-term incentive plans.
  • Benefits Management: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other benefits. Ensure programs are competitive and meet the needs of employees.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of total rewards professionals. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of total rewards programs.  May lead one or more collaborative committees such as Total Rewards Advisory Committee to ensure leader and employee voice and perspective is a regular part of Total Rewards Strategy development.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to total rewards. Prepare and present reports and analyses to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to ensure the company's total rewards programs remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required for training, conferences, or meetings with global teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in total rewards, with at least 3 years  designing and deploying enterprise-level rewards programs and executing multi-year rewards roadmaps

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience leading and developing total rewards team members.
  • Strong understanding of global total rewards practices and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • MBA, Masters in Human Resources, or other advanced degree
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) certification and/or Certified Employee Benefits Professional (CEBS)  certification.
  • Experience in a multinational corporation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of leadership, including the C-Suite.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and total rewards management software.
  • Familiarity with equity compensation programs and administration.
