Your role and responsibilities

As the Display, Video and Search Team Lead, you will hold ultimate accountability for the strategy, performance, and long-term growth of our global activities across Google Ads, Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), the Google Play Store, and the Apple App Store. You will be a player-coach, responsible for both high-level strategy and the hands-on development of your team. By implementing a full-funnel marketing approach, you will guide your team to capture user attention and drive meaningful conversions for our app.

Specifically, you will:

  • Own Channel Strategy & Performance: Architect and execute the overarching strategy for our Global Display, Video, and App Store Optimization (ASO) channels, ensuring continuous performance improvement and sustainable growth.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team: Act as a dedicated mentor and leader, fostering the skills and career growth of your team members. You will be accountable for building a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Execute Full-Funnel Campaigns: Leverage a diverse set of platforms and tactics to build comprehensive campaigns that effectively guide users through every stage of the marketing funnel—from initial awareness to conversion.
  • Champion Data-Driven Measurement: Partner directly with the Data team to establish and manage a rigorous pipeline for incrementality testing (e.g., Geo-Lifts), proving the incremental impact of your channel strategies.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in close partnership with global and local teams to develop unified, strategic plans that ensure we achieve our collective business objectives together.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing performance-focused Display and Video campaigns, specifically including Google Video Campaigns, Google App Campaigns, Google Demand Gen, and programmatic buying via DSPs. Experience must be in a mobile-first or app-centric company (in-house or agency).
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience in a team lead or mentorship role, showcasing your ability to guide and develop a team.
  • dedicated experience in mobile marketing, demonstrating a deep understanding of the app ecosystem.
  • Hands-on ASO experience with a specific focus on optimizing app store presence through the creation of Custom Product Pages (iOS) / Custom Store Listings (Android) and the use of In-App Events / Promotional Content.
  • Apple Search Ads (ASA) experience is highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of full-funnel marketing strategies and the ability to execute campaigns that map to each stage of the user journey.
  • Strong knowledge of Google platforms API and SDKs (Firebase), ideally with hands-on experience on these platforms.
  • Familiarity with the different types of marketing attribution models, incrementality testing (Geo Lift and Meta User Split Test) and Media Mix Model.
  • Familiarity with MMP/BI/measurement tools such as AppsFlyer, Looker, Firebase or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights and take action quickly.
  • A test-and-learn mindset - always curious and pushing for better.
  • Self-starter energy: autonomous, organised, and outcome-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-first mentality.
  • Passionate about sustainability and excited by our mission.

Our Values:

  • We Win Together
  • We Raise the Bar
  • We Keep It Simple
