About the Role

Imagine Worldwide is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to support the organization’s operations. The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting staff, partners, and materials, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained, and supporting logistical needs for program delivery. This role is critical in enabling Imagine’s teams to operate effectively across schools and field sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport Imagine staff, partners, and materials to designated locations on time.
• Maintain vehicles in top working condition, ensuring they are regularly serviced, clean, and roadworthy.
• Keep accurate vehicle records (mileage, fuel, service history, and incident reports).
• Navigate effectively, using strong local knowledge to plan efficient routes.
• Adhere strictly to Sierra Leone road and traffic regulations, and Imagine’s safety policies.
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or required repairs immediately.
• Support the operations team with logistics, including delivery of tablets, equipment, and supplies to schools.
• Represent Imagine with professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Sierra Leone driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience
• Excellent knowledge of Sierra Leone’s roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Basic mechanical skills to identify and manage minor vehicle issues.
