About the Team

Over the past year, our team has grown and evolved, moving into the broader GSMAi Services team, which includes colleagues delivering similar event and consulting support across other business units. You’ll be working alongside GSMA Intelligence analysts, the wider services team, marketing colleagues, and peers in similar roles supporting other GSMA products.

This collaborative structure allows for knowledge sharing, consistency in delivery, and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals across the organisation.

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Marketing Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of GSMA Intelligence events, including Mobile World Congress summits, sessions, roundtables, and online webinars.

Sitting within the Marketing Team, your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, from initial planning through to post-event analysis.
• Support the Senior Marketing Manager (GSMA Intelligence) in liaising with key GSMA event stakeholders, including Sponsorship, Content, Operations, and Technical Leads.
• Work with GSMA Intelligence analysts and the Senior Marketing Manager to identify relevant speakers and content for events, roundtables, and webinars.
• Manage all speaker logistics, including scheduling, collecting presentations, and improving formatting.
• Plan and deliver 2–3 webinars per month with external speakers, coordinating invitations, technical setup, and post-event follow-ups.
• Oversee event timelines, budgets, and tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with the wider Technology Marketing Team to align on content, sponsors, and speakers.
• Support content creation for event and webinar promotion, including email invites, social media posts, and paid advertising.
• Assist with on-the-day coordination, including catering, event recordings, speaker management, and room or online logistics.
• Support evaluating event data, including attendee numbers, unique scans, senior-level and C-level participation, companies, and countries.


About You

• Notable coordination experience with event exposure.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and brand guidelines.
