                                         Fund Management Officer

           (Private Debt and Private Equity fund support and oversight)

 



Key tasks

  • Coordinate and support fund launches end-to-end, including engagement with external service providers, alignment with internal teams, review of agreements, collaboration with legal advisors, and promotion of robust governance practices.
  • Oversight and support active Fund management to maintain high standard and service with external service providers, to fulfil the investor requirements, and ensure timely deliverables in cooperation with stakeholders.
  • Stay informed of relevant regulatory changes and provide advice on governance matters.
  • Prepare clear management information for senior leadership at the Luxembourg AIFM and group level.
  • Coordinate, moderate and ensure proper governance of different Fund Board Meetings.
  • Conduct regular due diligence reviews, monitor key performance indicators, monitor investor onboarding process, and coordinate with the Transfer Agent to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Support in the preparation of financial audits of the Funds in conjunction with third parties.
  • Support on Review and approval of Fund annual Budget.
  • Work closely with back-office teams and participate in Net Asset Value validation/authorisation, coordination with Fund Accountants.
  • Respond to ad hoc enquiries from internal and external stakeholders including investors.

 

Required skills and experience

  • Solid understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory framework for AIFMs, including governance requirements per CSSF circulars.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with strong motivation and initiative.
  • Strong academic background:  focus on economics, finance, or accounting.
  • Expertise and technical knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP accounting (another European GAAP knowledge will be a plus) as well as CFA certification or relevant certification will be a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (French and/or German languages will be considered as an advantage).
  • Ability to clearly structure content, processes, and communication.
  • Project management skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills using Excel and Word.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
