Overview

Partnering closely with the Head of Communications, you will be at the forefront of expanding our global presence, operational excellence, and executive impact. This is a high-ownership, multi-disciplinary role for someone skilled at orchestrating projects, nurturing ecosystems, and supporting senior leaders in complex, fast-paced environments.

Position Summary

The Communications Operations Manager is responsible for the planning and flawless execution of communications and high-profile events across multiple global regions. This role blends high-complexity project management with strategic storytelling, stakeholder ecosystem management, and operational scaling. You will serve as a trusted advisor to company leadership, providing confidential counsel, high-touch executive enablement, and rigorous program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Communications Operations: Spearhead the design and execution of multi-region communications programs and events, ensuring all initiatives reflect both global consistency and local nuance.
  • Strategic Event Management: Own the operational delivery of flagship product launches, executive summits, roadshows, press tours, and ecosystem networking events—across both physical and digital platforms.
  • Ecosystem & Stakeholder Management: Proactively map, connect, and orchestrate relationships with media, industry partners, governments, and internal cross-functional teams to unlock new opportunities.
  • Executive Enablement: Provide high-touch support for the Head of Communications and leadership, including board/executive communications, confidential project work, and strategic counsel.
  • Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives: Drive confidential and cross-functional initiatives on behalf of and with leadership, spanning international strategy, operations, organizational growth (incl. M&A), investor relations and internal alignment.International Growth & Market Expansion: Support leadership on global expansion initiatives, including evaluating new market opportunities, coordinating cross-border projects, and building the operational infrastructure to enter new regions effectively.
  • Project & Program Management: Handle multiple high-stakes initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, logistics, resources, and objectives are rigorously managed.
  • Continuous Optimization: Apply behavioral science, data-driven frameworks, and iterative testing to accelerate learnings and maximize engagement outcomes.
  • Operational Scaling: Build, refine, and elevate operational processes as the organization enters new markets and scales internationally.

Required Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership in international operations and stakeholder-facing program management
  • Experience supporting executives (board, leadership, or founder-level) with confidential and high-impact communications
  • Proven ability to plan and execute complex, multi-region events from concept through implementation
  • Strong track record of mapping and managing global stakeholder networks (media, partners, cross-functional teams)
  • Experience driving operational improvement and scaling in growth-stage environments
  • Fluent in navigating ambiguity, fast-change, and high-stakes situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Chief of Staff, project leader, or advisor for international expansion
  • Background in events and operations (global scale preferred)
  • Experience with process or team scaling in ambiguous, fast-growth environments
  • Highly collaborative, resourceful, data-driven, and low-ego

Our cash compensation range for this role is $180,000 - $215,000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
 
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity may be part of the total compensation package.
