We are currently recruiting an IT Support Coordinator to join our Global IT team.

This is a remote position open to candidates based in RI countries of operation – ideally Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Palestine or Türkiye.

About the Opportunity

The role provides direct IT support to Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Türkiye, Palestine, and Yemen, while also contributing to the global IT support function, including support for Sudan and Global Teams. Operating in complex, high-context environments with limited IT infrastructure in some locations, the position requires a high degree of autonomy, problem-solving, adaptability, and the ability to deliver reliable IT services across multiple countries.

The IT Support Coordinator ensures effective, timely, and compliant IT services for multiple RI country programs and global operations. The role delivers advanced technical troubleshooting, system access management, software provisioning, and IT capacity building across multiple high-risk operating environments. It also serves as the primary IT focal point for countries without local IT staff and as a backup to existing country IT roles.


Your Responsibilities

This role includes the following responsibilities.

  • Provide advanced IT support across multiple RI country programs, resolving complex issues related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, user access, software applications, and business systems.
  • Act as the primary IT focal point for designated country offices, ensuring reliable and timely support in locations with limited or no local IT presence while maintaining business continuity.
  • Manage user accounts, system access, permissions, and onboarding activities, ensuring secure and compliant access to RI systems and platforms.
  • Support and mentor country IT staff and focal points, delivering guidance, training, and practical assistance to strengthen IT service delivery and compliance with RI policies.
  • Coordinate software licensing, technology procurement, and asset management processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and security standards.
  • Monitor and maintain regional IT infrastructure and network devices, supporting cybersecurity controls, system integrity, and adherence to approved security baselines.
  • Partner with country and global teams to identify technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness, support humanitarian programming, and enhance user experience across RI’s global operations.


About You

You will bring the following experience and skills.

  • Proven experience in IT support across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Windows environments.
  • Experience with software licensing and vendor coordination.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in complex, high-risk, and multi-cultural environments.
  • Experience in NGO or humanitarian IT support would be a bonus.
  • Familiarity with Starlink systems and portal management preferred.
  • Arabic language skills preferred.
