Status: 12 month fixed term contract, full-time

Reports to: Chief of Engagement   

Job purpose:

Manage the range of ISSB Engagement projects that help the ISSB achieve its adoption and application objectives via stakeholder engagement with regulators, policymakers, companies, investors, the accountancy profession and other key stakeholders. This includes internal and external reporting on a systematic as well as ad-hoc basis.

Principal accountabilities

  • Manage a team-wide portfolio of projects ensuring the smooth running, and creating workstreams for each project;
  • Lead internal stakeholder management, communications and reporting for each project.  Communicate project status to ensure key stakeholders and leadership are aware of each project’s progress. Compile end of year reports for publication on capacity building progress;
  • Lead and recommend resolution where appropriate, ensuring escalation of schedule conflicts and capacity challenges appropriately;
  • Support internal governance processes, including risk management, annual workplans and budgets;
  • Liaise closely with fundraising team, including inputs to pitches, proposals, and reporting KPIs to donors and other stakeholders;
  • Manage the requests the Foundation receives to speak at third party events, securing a decision internally and communicating with event managers;
  • Support event planning and logistics associated with hosting webinars and in-person events;
  • Surface ideas for improvements to ISSB Engagement operations; and
  • Help in other ways as needed to ensure IFRS Foundation achieves its ISSB Engagement objectives.

Qualifications & experience 

  • Demonstrated project management experience working across a team to keep projects on track and to completion in a fast-moving environment. 
  • Ideal experience in applying organisational policies and regulations, ensuring compliance and continuously monitoring and improving governance practices.
  • Proven experience with high volume, co-ordination types of activities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner, Workfront or other project management tools to analyse and synthesise data and prepare written and visual materials.  Proficiency in MS Office 365, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Good experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and foster a positive team culture.

  • Naturally collaboration oriented, with an excitement working in a cross-functional role  
  • High level of autonomy and resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of and commitment to the mission of the ISSB and IFRS Foundation.
