Role: IT&S Infrastructure Manager

Location: This role will be remote in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii

Reports to: Director of IT and Security

Classification: Exempt Full Time

Union Role?  No

Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000


Summary: 

The IT & Security team at Trevor is focused on providing a people-centric, easy to use, always available, and frictionless experience for all staff, contractors, and volunteers. Equally important is maintaining the highest standards of data security and ensuring proper controls are in place and enforced. 


As the IT&S Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee the team that manages and supports the organization’s network, endpoints, cloud/SaaS applications, identity and access management, security platforms, hardware, and other enterprise applications and suites. This includes day to day management, preventative maintenance, monitoring, continuous improvement, incident response and resolution, and disaster recovery planning. 


You will ensure that the IT&S Infrastructure Team’s strategy and execution is aligned with the departmental and vertical roadmaps, as well as the organization’s mission, values, and strategic plan.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement best-in-class policies and documentation for supporting the Trevor IT & Security platforms
  • Ensure the secure handling and protection of highly confidential and sensitive data across IT systems and infrastructure
  • Define requirements for and conduct regular security and performance audits on networks, endpoints, and cloud/SaaS services in alignment with industry best practices
  • Monitor and report on IT&S Infrastructure Team volume, bandwidth, and survey metrics
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve software platforms, security systems, and other aspects of IT Infrastructure
  • Create, maintain, and regularly test the organization's disaster recovery plan
  • Proactively track and mitigate cybersecurity threats and manage the organization’s cybersecurity training program
  • Support the Technology Support Manager in developing content, training, or documentation to help proactively prevent recurring Infrastructure issues that impact staff
  • Act as an escalation point for advanced issues involving IT Infrastructure systems and platforms
  • Monitor the performance of the IT&S Infrastructure Team with a focus on support and professional development through the use of weekly 1:1 meetings, individual development plans, and other appropriate tools
  • Contribute to and facilitate the continuous improvement of the IT & Security Knowledgebase
  • Participate in the development of the verticals budget, workforce plan, strategic plan, and other processes as requested
  • Demonstrate fair, ethical, and equitable business practices

  • Organize and report on the Infrastructure teams projects and tasks to the Director of IT & S.
  • Other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of combined education, work, and/or certification experience with demonstrated expertise in IT and Security planning, implementation, and maintenance. 
  • 2 or more years of experience in Information Technology Management.
