About IDinsight

We amplify social impact by partnering with leaders to develop tailored solutions. Our mission is to use data and evidence to help leaders combat poverty worldwide.

IDinsight is a mission-driven global advisory, data analytics, and research organization that helps global development leaders maximize their social impact. We tailor a wide range of data and evidence tools, including randomized evaluations and machine learning, to help decision-makers design effective programs and rigorously test what works to support communities. We work with governments, multilateral agencies, foundations, and innovative non-profit organizations in Asia and Africa. Our work spans a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, education, health, governance, sanitation, financial inclusion, and other areas.

We have expertise in a variety of rigorous approaches and methodologies, which we tailor to each client depending on their needs and constraints. To achieve a positive social impact, we:

  • Support clients’ use of data and evidence for routine and major decision-making.
  • Inform funding decisions – toward high-impact initiatives and away from less effective programs or approaches.
  • Create and share tools, knowledge, and ideas that expand the use of data and evidence for social good.

Our diverse, growing team of roughly 230 outstanding colleagues operates in nearly two dozen countries around the world. Learn more about our mission and values at www.IDinsight.org.

The IT project Associate will independently own the project management workflows connected to our IT Systems as well as a few other org-facing IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

As an IT project Associate, your core day-to-day work may include:

  • IT Project Coordination - Supporting the implementation of internal IT projects by leading activities such as project planning, user research, and product research, etc.

Professional Growth and Internal Contributions
Beyond your core responsibilities, you will contribute to the Systems team and your own professional development through:

  • Systems Support: You will occasionally provide Systems Support through our internal help desk. Every Systems team member contributes to these efforts, as we believe it's the best way to gain direct insight into the technical challenges IDinsighters face and potential solutions.

  • Continuous Learning: IDinsight has implemented a diverse array of Systems. While mastery of these Systems is not required for this role, we look for a commitment to developing deep technical expertise over time to enable internal growth opportunities.

  • Experience administering enterprise systems such as workspace collaboration suites, ITSM tools, HRIS, SASE, ATS, CRM, etc.
  • Detail- and execution- oriented, able to take a task from high-level strategic idea to rapid execution with a large amount of autonomy and conscientiousness;
  • Demonstrated track record as a self-starter and leader, including comfort with ambiguity and dynamic environments and work streams;
  • Strong desire for professional growth and development, with a track record of openness to give and receive feedback;
