About Us
The ITTF Foundation is a global non-profit using table tennis as a tool for development, social change, and peace. We support community-led projects that empower people to drive positive, sustainable impact.
Working closely with the International Table Tennis Federation (227 Member Associations, 30M competitive players), the Foundation promotes table tennis as a driver of inclusion, health, and social responsibility worldwide.
With a new strategy underway, this is a pivotal moment to join us and help expand the Foundation’s reach and influence.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing
- Lead multi-channel campaigns that build reach, brand awareness, and supporter engagement.
- Develop compelling content and messaging for fundraising campaigns and partnerships (email, social, web)
- Monitor and analyse performance, using insights to improve strategy and results.
Fundraising
- Shape and implement the Foundation’s fundraising strategy.
- Identify and secure opportunities with corporates, major donors, and digital channels.
- Develop proposals and applications for partnerships and funding.
- Build and steward relationships with donors, ensuring strong engagement and retention.
- Maximise income opportunities linked to global table tennis events (pre-, during, post-event).
General
- Line-manage the Communications Coordinator.
- Support the Director with daily tasks and reporting.
- Represent the Foundation at international events.
- Act as first contact for ITTF Group colleagues on marketing/fundraising.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Proven track record in fundraising and/or marketing, ideally within non-profit or sport-for-development.
- Strong digital engagement expertise across multiple platforms.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to network, influence, and manage stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and creative.
Desirable
- Background in table tennis or sport.
- Additional languages.
- Experience leading and inspiring small communications/marketing teams.
Summary
- Contract: Full-time, 2 years (potential for permanent).
- Location: Leipzig, Germany (preferred) – other arrangements possible. Please indicate relocation willingness in your application.
