The Koch Associate Program (KAP) is a career accelerator for early to mid-career professionals with a drive to tackle our country’s most pressing challenges in more effective, principled ways. KAP equips associates with the tools, mindsets, and community to succeed as social entrepreneurs—individuals excited to find new and better ways to break barriers and eliminate injustice. Associates spend one day each week engaging in experiential learning with Stand Together Fellowships and work at one of our many partner organizations the rest of the week. Our curriculum is designed to supercharge your development and equip you for long-term success as you seek to have an impact on the problems that prevent people from realizing their potential.

About Principled Business

Principled Business is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization activating capitalists to advance the principles of capitalism. We believe capitalism is the greatest force for good, and that those within the system have a responsibility to live up to its promise.

We convene and equip investors, executives, and entrepreneurs to see themselves as moral agents whose work advances human dignity, agency, prosperity, and happiness. We then activate them as advocates and exemplars of free enterprise in their companies, communities, and the broader culture, strengthening public understanding and support for capitalism.

  • Coordinate and organize visual assets, templates, and reusable design elements.

3) Media and Distribution Support

  • Support placement and distribution of content across owned channels, partner platforms, and external media opportunities.
  • Research and maintain lists of relevant media outlets, platforms, and distribution partners.
  • Assist in drafting outreach for media placement and content partnerships.
  • Apply basic SEO principles and content structuring to improve discoverability and reach.

4) Capitalists for Capitalism Magazine Support

  • Assist in editing, formatting, and preparing written content for publication.
  • Coordinate contributor materials, drafts, and revisions.
  • Support production timelines to ensure consistent, high-quality publication.

5) Messaging and Content Systems

  • Help build and maintain internal libraries of messaging, templates, and reusable content.
  • Organize content so it can be efficiently adapted and redeployed across formats and channels.
  • Support the development of repeatable processes for content creation, branding, and distribution.

6) Performance Tracking and Iteration

  • Track performance across content and campaigns, including engagement, reach, and conversion indicators.
  • Use basic analytics and measurement tools to generate simple reports and summaries.
  • Identify patterns and support iterative improvements to messaging, distribution, and format based on performance data.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editing ability, with the capacity to produce clear, structured, and persuasive content.
  • Ability to work across multiple content formats, including written, visual, and digital media.
  • Comfort creating and refining on-brand visual assets using basic design tools.
  • Familiarity with media measurement, analytics, and performance tracking.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization for discoverability.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in brand voice, tone, and presentation.
