Local Campaigner I Rajasthan

Purpose PBC
On-site
Rajasthan

ABOUT PURPOSE:

Purpose is a global social impact organisation that, for over 15 years, has been using storytelling and insight-led campaigns to engage and mobilize communities. Our campaigns aim to shift power, change narratives and behaviors, and influence decision makers to drive systemic change.

Purpose believes that effective and authentic movement-building and campaigning has to be delivered through local experts who are connected to the frontline organizations, which represent key partners in creating change.  All of this is backed with insight and hypothesis-led approaches that are tested and iterated to build toward identified outcomes. Through our methodology, we use learning and evaluation methods to gather more evidence and data to bring rigor to the interventions.

With offices in North America, Brazil, UK & Europe, Kenya, India and Indonesia & APAC we work with leading organisations, businesses and philanthropies to inspire people to reimagine the world and use their power to make it happen.

In India, Purpose has a track record of working on strategy and public mobilisation using storytelling communications and campaigning approaches on issues including women workforce participation, mobility, sexual health and reproductive rights, dignity in healthcare, vaccine hesitancy and confidence building, tobacco control, climate change and public health misinformation.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project is a bold, multi-year initiative to shift the norms, narratives, and everyday conversations around gender-based violence (GBV) in Rajasthan.
