About The Team And The Role
The eBay Foundation has been unleashing the power of entrepreneurship and supporting economically vibrant communities since 1998. In 2021, the Foundation embarked on a new strategic vision to significantly deepen its impact. By supporting organizations that provide entrepreneurs with crucial knowledge, resources, capital, and connections, the Foundation strives to remove barriers to entrepreneurship for historically excluded communities.
Our approach focuses on three key areas: providing access to resources, breaking down inhibitors to scale, and participating in long-term systemic solutions. By learning from and partnering with experts in the field, we strive to act as trusted partners to nonprofits and the communities we serve. This requires us to lead with intention and humility across all areas, from grantmaking to board representation and governance.
The eBay Foundation team sets the company’s philanthropic strategy while encouraging employee engagement through programs such as matching gifts and Changemakers. We work closely with senior leadership, including the eBay Foundation Board of Directors, in a highly visible, fast-paced environment. To help advance this mission, we are seeking a Manager, Programs & Operations — an individual contributor who will support grants management, operations, impact measurement, and board activities. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with experience in grants administration, CSR, or nonprofit program management, and a passion for equity-centered philanthropy.
