Reports to: Senior Program Director (Washington DC, US)
Contract: 2 year Fixed Term, Full time (40 hrs/week)
Manager Salary Range: €85,000 - €95,000k pa depending on experience
Senior Manager Salary Range: €105,000 - €115,000 depending on experience.
*Seniority of role (Manager or Senior Manager) will be determined by previous relevant work experience.

About the role
CPI is seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to play a central role in CPI’s work in global climate finance and policy in its new Austria office based in Vienna. This is a foundational role and will be CPI’s first position based in Austria. Reporting directly to CPI’s Senior Program Director and collaborating extensively across the organization, the Manager/Senior Manager will play a critical role in shaping CPI’s regional presence through supporting EU partnerships and contributing to the organization’s global portfolio.
The Manager/ Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and managing projects, supporting business development, representing CPI with key stakeholders, and supporting a strong and motivated local team as the office grows.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy, strong judgment, and the ability to operate effectively across geographies, cultures, and disciplines while remaining closely aligned with CPI’s global leadership and strategic priorities. The role will be shaped around the strengths and experience of the selected candidate.
