About the Team

The Membership and Working Groups team is responsible for all communications and marketing activities that support GSMA’s global member community. We lead membership-focused marketing campaigns to drive engagement, support the sales team with retention and churn-reduction initiatives, and run lead generation efforts to attract new members. We manage the promotion and marketing of GSMA’s Working Groups, ensuring their contributions and thought leadership are recognised across the industry. We are also responsible for the marketing and delivery of all GSMA pavilions at global MWC events, including Mobile World Congress — the world’s largest and most influential connectivity event.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing activities that drive engagement and growth for GSMA Membership. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns, managing digital content, and optimizing outreach efforts to attract new members and enhance the value for existing ones. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a, a passion for digital and content marketing. The role will report to the Marketing Director, Membership and Working Groups. Success in this role is defined by driving impactful, multi-channel marketing campaigns that enhance member engagement, retention, and acquisition, while proactively introducing new initiatives and collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase membership acquisition and engagement.
• Craft compelling messaging and content tailored to different GSMA Membership audience segments.
• Manage and optimize digital marketing efforts, including website content, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
• Support the Senior Marketing Manager with the execution of engagement marketing activities.
• Project manage engagement marketing projects for the Membership marketing team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create marketing assets such as brochures, case studies and thought-leadership content.
• Analyse campaign performance and membership data to refine strategies and improve results.

About You

• You will be experienced in B2B marketing, preferably within the technology or telecom sector.
• You will have a proven track record of designing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
• You will have strong content creation and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
• You will be experienced with digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, email automation, and analytics.
• You will possess excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• You will have experience of growing and engaging new audiences, with a proven ability to reach untapped demographics effectively.
• You will have experience in driving initiatives, showing initiative and confidence in managing complex projects.
• You will work well independently, quickly adapting to new challenges and hitting the ground running.
