SUMMARY 

IsraAID ensures
effective humanitarian access and program implementation in complex operational environments. The MHPSS Specialist will lead the content development and implementation of MHPSS programs and activities within IsraAID’s Regional Response and will report to the Programs Manager. 

The MHPSS Specialist is expected to have a deep understanding of IsraAID’s mission and actively participate in meetings and external events with partners when required. This role requires to actively maintain relationships and collaborate with partners.  

 

Main responsibilities include: 

  • Develop content for training sessions, according to context and program requirements. 
  • Develop evaluation tools to ensure effectiveness and relevance of materials developed 
  • Collect data to help monitor activities implemented 

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES 


Requirements 

Education - University Degree in Social work, Expressive Therapy, or Psychology. 

Experience 

  • Able to work in a high stress environment 
  • Flexibility and cultural sensitivity. 
  • Proven training experience 
  • Proven content development experience 
  • Proven therapeutic experience with child trauma 
  • Proven supervision experience and education. 
  • Worked in an educational environment- Advantage 
  • Experience in group therapy- Advantage 
  • Previous experience in CP (Child Protection) - Advantage.
