Search is seeking a MEAL Intern to support the MEAL department at Lebanon office.

Position Summary- Under the overall supervision and guidance of the DM&E Specialist, the intern will provide support to the MEAL team in various projects by assisting in research, design, monitoring, and evaluation, and organizational learning efforts of Search projects conducted in Lebanon, meet the quality requirements, deliver on time, and ensure that organizational learning is captured.
Internship details:- From 12 November 2025 till February 2026, renewable for another three months, if new budget is received
- From Monday to Friday (with office attendance)
- From 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Internship Stipend: Net USD 250 per month
- Reports to: DM&E Specialist
- Working relationships: Works closely with the DM&E Specialist and colleagues from other projects and departments.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Key Area 1: Participate in the development of the system for data collection, data entry, and reporting formats, and suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of data within the team.
- Key Area 2: Undertake data collection and field monitoring as required to conduct household interviews, phone interviews, pre/post testing, satisfaction surveys, focus group discussions, and community visits
- Key Area 3: Contribute to the design, development, and management of databases, spreadsheets, and other data tools; understand, document, and ensure the quality of high-value data for accuracy, consistency, and comparability; consolidate operational information as needed to support analysis.
- Key Area 4: Support in the facilitation of Reflection Sessions and assist project managers in identifying and synthesizing good practices and lessons learned
- Key Area 5: Ensure that data collected through project activities is properly entered and shared with the M&E Specialist for storage in a central database/folder per project.
- Key Area 6: Maintain and regularly update MEAL folder in Google Drive
- Key Area 7: Effectively communicate with the M&E Specialist for any issues related to the project
Required Profile:- Education: BA (completed or in progress) in Business Administration, Statistics, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, International Relations, Conflict Resolution, Peacebuilding, or any relevant field of study or equivalent experience;Commitment to peacebuilding, human rights, gender equality, and non-discrimination;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with civil society organizations, charity, and/or project management is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic are mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Self-starter, able to work independently, and willing to take on tasks small and large
