The Task At Hand:
The Corporate Paralegal is a strategic partner and reports directly to the Chief Legal Officer, helping to build and strengthen the legal infrastructure that supports Once Upon a Farm’s continued growth and public company readiness. You’ll lead key initiatives across legal operations, contract lifecycle management, corporate governance, and compliance, while coordinating closely with teams across the organization. From designing our first enterprise CLM system to supporting board operations, SEC reporting, and compliance programs, you will play a central role in ensuring our legal function operates with clarity, efficiency, and excellence.

In This Role, You Will: - Partner with our Chief Legal Officer to manage budgets and optimize outside counsel spend
- Implement and maintain legal technology solutions that support our growing business, including leading the design and implementation of our first enterprise CLM system
- Develop KPIs and reporting metrics to track legal department performance
- Coordinate vendor relationships and billing processes across multiple law firms
- Support strategic planning initiatives and resource allocation decisions
- Design contract templates, approval workflows, and automated renewal processes
- Create contract risk assessment frameworks and approval matrices
- Develop contract analytics dashboards for executive reporting
- Manage board, SEC, and committee calendars; assist in preparation of agendas, resolutions, presentations, and meeting materials
- Organize and maintain board minutes, written consents, and other corporate records
- Support annual shareholder meeting preparation, including proxy statement coordination
- Ensure subsidiary compliance and good standing across multiple jurisdictions
- Assist with preparation, proofreading, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Section 16 filings (Forms 3, 4, 5)
- Assist with insider trading compliance; support investor relations materials review and earnings call preparation
- Coordinate companywide compliance training initiatives in partnership with Legal, HR, and other stakeholders
- Maintain training schedules, track employee completion, and follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Assist in updating compliance policies, onboarding materials, and communication templates
- Collaborate on the rollout and maintenance of compliance training platforms or third-party systems
- Assist in the management of our intellectual property portfolio, including trademark filings and protection, working with the Chief Legal Officer and outside counsel
- Support all litigation and claims matter management with our Chief Legal Officer and outside counsel, including tracking of all matters, initiation and management of legal holds together with our IT department, and coordination of records production in discovery
In This Role, You’ll Bring With You: - Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate paralegal experience, with prior experience supporting public company boards of directors and board committees
- Demonstrated contract management and legal operations experience
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with board software (OnBoard, BoardVantage, or similar platforms)
- Experience with contract management systems (ContractWorks, Ironclad, or similar)
- EDGAR filing system proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial tracking and PowerPoint for presentations
- Preferred experience in the consumer-packaged goods, food & beverage, or broader consumer products industry
- Experience implementing legal technology tools or process improvements
- Familiarity with fast-growth or mission-driven organizations
- Up to 10% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year.

Compensation: - Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
- The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $150,000.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
