Requirements:

We welcome applicants who are currently pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor's degree in communications, social sciences, business, public relations, or any related field. Candidates from other disciplines with demonstrated involvement in partnerships, community engagement, or communications work — through internships, student organizations, or personal projects — are equally encouraged to apply. No prior professional experience is required, though familiarity with social impact or movement-building is a plus. The ideal candidate brings:

  1. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Thai, with the ability to convey ideas clearly across different audiences and formats.
  2. Digital & Content Skills: Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and basic content creation; experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe is an advantage.
  3. Organization & Multitasking: Good project management and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  4. People & Networking: Enthusiasm for meeting new people and building relationships grounded in mutual trust and respect, with an interest in partnership and community building.
  5. Curiosity & Initiative: A proactive learner who stays curious about trends, tools, and channels relevant to social innovation, and is eager to contribute to Ashoka Thailand's EACH movement. 

 

Role Description:

1) Assist in supporting the partnership strategy that advances the EACH movement in Thailand, including helping track progress against established KPIs under the guidance of senior staff.

2) Help prepare partnership documents such as one-pagers, concept notes, presentations, proposals, and official letters. 

3) Support data collection and monitoring of partnership activities, and assist in presenting results to partners in clear and engaging formats. 

4) Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential partners and opportunities to broaden Ashoka Thailand's programs and activities. 

5) Support the production of digital content for Ashoka Thailand's social media channels and webpage, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. 

6) Help organize events, workshops, and conferences that promote partnership activities, facilitate networking, and showcase joint initiatives. 

7) Assist in adapting Ashoka Global's communication and partnership materials to the Thailand and Southeast Asia context. 

8) Support the dissemination of Ashoka Thailand's program communications and branding to keep existing partners informed and attract new ones. 

9) Help maintain and update fundraising and communications materials to align with EACH messaging and branding standards. 

10) Assist in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and media partners to help amplify Ashoka's messaging. 

11) Provide general support to other team members across scope of work as needed, including occasional out-of-town assignments as instructed.

To be able to innately ‘get’ this, candidates should have a broad and inquisitive intellectual and a thinking pattern that connects the dots between historical trends and current social context. 
  2. Entrepreneurship/Intrapreneurship: Compelled to take creative initiative and ownership (e.g. founding an organization or company, starting a movement, or re-shaping the work of an existing organization). Demonstrates relentless and realistic how-to-thinking and passion for seeing their ideas come to life. 
  3. Emotional and Social Intelligence:  Ability to work efficiently and respectfully in teams, putting organizational/team goal first (personal glory second). 
  4. Ethical Fiber: Exceptionally strong ethical behavior. Is self-reflective and has strong empathy skills. Trustworthy.
