Political Manager, Civic Bridge (Germany, UK, Poland)
Application Deadline: 5 December 2025
Department: Country Desks
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Europe
Description
Civic Bridge engages to preserve and broaden the political space for democratic governance, including respect for the rule of law, fact-based information and pro-democratic policies. Civic Bridge works to broaden the appeal of truth values and facts at a time of shrinking democratic space and authoritarian narratives. The rule of law and democratic governance are prerequisites for maintaining and implementing an ambitious climate agenda and engaging our societies on the path of a socially just energy transition.
Civic Bridge operates at the intersection of politics, campaigns, and research — to shift narratives, engage public opinion, and support pro-climate leadership across Europe.
We bring together intelligence, communications, and campaigning to secure a democratic path forward for governance.
As Political Manager for the UK, Germany, and Poland, you will be Civic Bridge’s lead across this strategically important cluster. You’ll be responsible for tracking national political dynamics, shaping our engagement strategies, and building trusted relationships. This includes not only political parties and institutions, but also business associations, trade unions, faith communities, sports associations, and cultural organisations with influence in public life.
You will lead the development and execution of national political strategies in each country, working closely with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities and openings, craft engagement plans, and shape the broader strategic direction of Civic Bridge’s work. These strategies will ensure that campaigns, research, and communications are aligned with national realities and designed to shift both elite and public narratives.
You will work closely with the Political Director and collaborate with our campaign and research teams
