About the Team
WaterAid is an international organization whose vision is that of a world where everyone has access to safe water, hygiene, and sanitation. WaterAid works to transform lives by improving access to safe water and good hygiene and sanitation conditions among the poorest and most marginalized populations in the world. In the implementation of its strategic plan for 2023-2028, WaterAid Zambia places particular emphasis on Health, also on increasing the quantity and quality of the WASH sector financing in Zambia, mobilizing resources, establishing multi-stakeholder partnerships, utilizing action research and innovation, while drawing on the lessons learned from previous strategies. In this process, WaterAid Zambia is seeking a qualified and motivated individual candidate to fill the position of Procurement and Administration Officer based at the National Office in Lusaka.
About the Role
This role will ensure compliance with WaterAid procurement and administration policies and procedures for goods and service for effective and efficient functioning of WaterAid. The Procurement and Administration Officer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all procurement activities across WaterAid Zambia Country Programme. The officer will ensure procurement processes are transparent, cost-effective, and in compliance with WaterAid procurement policies, donor requirements, and Zambian procurement regulations. The role supports efficient sourcing of goods and services to facilitate WASH interventions in WaterAid Zambia Operational areas.
