Product & Investor Relations Associate – Fixed Income


In this role, you will join the Product Specialists & Investor Relations team as a Product & Investor Relations Associate for Blue Orchard’s Fixed Income strategies. You will support the set-up and ongoing development of a dedicated product management & investor relations function that serves as a central point of entry for product-related investor/client requests. The role will primarily focus on content preparation, internal coordination and quality control across teams, with the intention to also interact with clients occasionally and over time. The role will place particular emphasis on portfolio, market and performance communication for liquid fixed income strategies.

Key tasks

  • Fixed Income product management: develop into a product specialist for BlueOrchard’s Fixed Income strategies, including fund structures, investment strategies, portfolio positioning, performance drivers, liquidity profiles, market exposure, benchmark position, impact proposition and investor requirements.
  • Investor requests and internal coordination: act as a central coordination point for product-related investor and client requests, including client inbounds and detailed operational or fund-specific information requests, supporting Business Development through timely triage, follow-up, internal alignment and quality control.
  • DDQ, RFP and due diligence management: write and coordinate responses to investor due diligence questionnaires, RFPs and ad-hoc requests, ensuring accurate, consistent and client-ready materials.
  • Product content and sales enablement: prepare, maintain and improve pitch decks, factsheets, product briefs, Q&A documents, case studies, track-record materials and customized client presentations and analyses to support Business Development, capital raising, and go-to-market activities
  • Reporting and data quality: support the review and quality control of regular investor reporting, factsheets and customized reports, with a focus on narrative consistency, data accuracy, market commentary, performance explanations, portfolio attribution, and timely delivery.
  • Knowledge management and AI enablement: maintain a structured knowledge base of approved responses and supporting materials, and use CRM data, response mapping and approved AI tools to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Product and market positioning: support analyses, research and materials for product development, mandate opportunities, competitor reviews, portfolio-level analysis, and internal decision-making forums.

Required skills

  • Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field; CFA or similar professional qualification is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in asset management, investor relations, investment management, investment consulting, banking or a similar role; prior experience as a fund, portfolio, investor relations manager is highly desired.
  • Good understanding of fixed income and credit markets, including bonds, yield, duration, spreads, ratings, benchmarks and portfolio risk characteristics; experience with emerging markets, impact investing, or labeled bonds is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to translate complex investment, portfolio and impact information into clear investor-facing language.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), portfolio management applications such as Aladdin® By BlackRock, data management tools, programming experience, RFP/DDQ databases or AI-enabled knowledge tools is a plus;
  • Professional proficiency in English required.
